Growth systems advisory for founder-led businesses doing $1M–$20M in revenue.
I help owners clarify their market, improve how work gets done, and build a team that can move without routing every decision back to them.
The systems that helped you reach this stage may not support the next one. Marketing becomes inconsistent. Important work stays in people's heads. Decisions return to you because the process or authority is unclear. The business is growing, but so is the amount you have to carry.
This is not an effort problem. It is a structure problem. The first step is identifying the most important barrier to progress and selecting the right assessment.
More marketing, software, or hiring will not solve a problem in the wrong place. The assessment process identifies the most important barriers, clarifies priorities, and provides a practical sequence for action.
Clarify positioning, messaging, and demand so the right prospects understand why they should choose you.
Improve workflows, decision paths, and recurring processes so growth does not create unnecessary work.
Define ownership, delegation, and adoption so the team can act without waiting for the founder.
The three systems are assessed together because a change in one area often exposes a constraint in another.
AI is useful when it improves a defined process or decision.
I use AI where it can reduce manual work, improve access to information, or support better decisions. It is not a separate strategy and it is not added simply because the technology is available.
The work begins with the business objective, the current process, and the people responsible for it. Technology comes after those are clear.
It is most useful when the company has real traction, but the systems and decision structure have not kept pace with growth.
Revenue between $1M and $20M. You've built something real.
The owner is still involved in too many routine decisions.
Marketing, operations, or team execution is becoming inconsistent.
Entrepreneurial, not bureaucratic. You move when you decide.
Interested in practical AI, but only where there is a clear business case.
Ready to document, delegate, and change how the business operates.
Engagements vary because the underlying problem varies. The process begins with a conversation, moves to the appropriate paid assessment, and continues only when there is a clear case for implementation.
A direct conversation about the business, the current pressure points, and whether an assessment would be useful.
A structured, paid assessment focused on the area most relevant to your business: marketing, AI readiness and implementation, or leadership and AI adoption. You receive documented findings, clear priorities, and a practical roadmap for action.
A focused implementation engagement that addresses the primary constraint, establishes ownership, and puts the new system into use.
I've been where you are.
30+ years across corporate leadership, consulting, and entrepreneurship. I've seen successes. Seen ventures fail. Seen markets collapse. Built things that didn't survive.
It started in magazine editing. The job there is asking the better question before you write a word. That instinct carried through IT, automotive, and process innovation: business development and marketing strategy at EDS, supporting clients like General Motors, then supplier capability assessments across Fiat/Chrysler and Stellantis. Every assessment asked the same question: could this operation produce the same quality result every time, not just once? The answer was almost always systems, not heroics. That's the standard I bring to how I build for you.
Today that same question runs through AI: implementation, adoption, change management, AI-enabled marketing. AICA certified. The tools changed. The job didn't: turn complexity into a system you can lead, not one you have to carry.
Outside of work, that same instinct shows up on a bandstand. I play vibraphone in a jazz quintet. Improvisation only works inside real structure. Business runs the same way: you don't get to skip the architecture and call it agility.
One conversation. No pitch deck. No hype. Just a direct look at where the real constraint is, and what structural leverage looks like for your business.
I read every application myself. If it's not a fit, I'll tell you that too.
